What do I do if I try to verify a key and it doesn't match?

Whenever the key summaries don't match, then the keys don't match. You need to stop using that key immediately.

After you verify the key doesn't match the other person's key, then...

Start the Tiger Envelopes control panel.

Click the Keys tab.

Select the email address and click the Delete button.

If the other person is also using Tiger Envelopes, then send a message to them with no private content. They will automatically get your key and future messages will be private.

If the other person isn't using Envelopes, or they are but one of you has turned off automatic key exchange, then ask them to send you their key.
