There are a few reasons that Tiger Envelopes may not be able to decrypt a message.
- The sender has an old public key for you. Verify your key with the sender. If the keys don't match, update the key. Be sure to verify the new key.
- The message wasn't encrypted to you, even if it's addressed to you. Someone may have sent you a message encrypted for someone else. The sender must encrypt the message using your public key.
- The message is to you, but you need to configure Tiger to protect that email address.
- Your passphrase has changed. Whenever you change your passphrase, you must enter the new passphrase into Tiger's control panel.
