How do I start Envelopes from the terminal window on Mac?

Usually you want to start the Tiger Envelopes servers from Tiger's control panel. But, if you've run into a technical problem, Tiger's support staff may ask you to start the servers from a terminal window.

Stop Tiger Envelopes.

Open a terminal window.

Move to the folder where you installed Tiger Envelopes.

Type in the command: ./envelopes.autostart.command
Be sure to include the leading ./ or the command won't work.

The support staff probably asked you to do this because they need information that is going to appear on your screen. Simply use your mouse to copy the information and then paste it into a file in a text editor. Save the file and send it to Tiger's staff if that's what they asked you to do.
