Tiger Envelopes uses special ports that may not be used by any other program. When you first install and configure Tiger, the ports are tested to verify there is no conflict.
If you saw the warning, then restart your computer and then start the Tiger Envelopes control panel. Move to the Test tab and click the Start tests button. This will help confirm if there really is a challenge or not. If all the tests are successful, then there's nothing you need to do.
If there are errors, then it's likely that the ports are in use by another program. Check your system or talk with the person who configured your system to see if any of these ports are used by another program:
8025, 8110, 9025, 9100 If you discover there is a conflict, then you can change Tiger's configuration. The following instructions must be done by a computer expert -- a wrong change could leave Tiger Envelopes completely unusable.

- Backup DixieMail.cfg. This file is located in the DixieMail or .dixiemail folder of your home folder.
- Use a plain text editor and only change the lines described
- Identify 4 ports that won't conflict with any other program that you run on your system and aren't standard ports
- Load options.xml, options.test.xml, and DixieMail.cfg into a plain text editor.
