Where is my home folder?

If you successfully installed Tiger Envelopes, then you can see the name of your home folder in Tiger' control panel.

Start the Tiger Envelopes control panel.

Click the Advanced tab.

Click the Folders sub-tab.

Otherwise, here are the standard locations for your home folder, also known as home directory, on different operating systems.

Windows The folder in the Documents and Settings folder that matches your login name.

Mac OS X The folder that matches your login name in the Users folder.

Linux The folder in the /home folder that matches your login name.

If you still can't find your home folder, then talk with the network administrator or whomever set up your computer. Or, if you're using a Mac or Linux machine and you're comfortable using a terminal or command window, then open a new window. Type pwd and you'll see your home folder's name.
