For security reasons, Apple has configured the Mac Mail accounts' passwords to be accessible only by Mac Mail so Tiger Envelopes can't set any passwords. And, Mac Mail requires that you define a password whenever there is a new user name and/or mail server name. Both of these fields must be changed to use Tiger Envelopes, therefore, you must re-enter your password for your account.
