If you have multiple email accounts that use the same email address, then Tiger only configures the first account with the matching address. For example, if you have one account that connects via POP3 and another account that connects via IMAP and both accounts use the email address test@mycompany.com, then Tiger will only configure one of the email accounts.
If you want Tiger to protect both email accounts, then you must configure the second account manually.
