Before you can start using Tiger Envelopes, you need to be sure that you changed your mail client's configuration. If you installed Tiger Envelopes from the installer, then it started automatically at the end of the installation. Also, the installer configured your system to start Tiger Envelopes every time you login if you're running on Windows, Linux with KDE. or Mac OS X.
If you installed from source or your system wasn't automatically configured to auto-start Tiger Envelopes, we suggest you do so. Otherwise, you won't be able to send and receive mail for those accounts that rely on Tiger Envelopes.
You can also start Tiger Envelopes manually...
- Select the Tiger Envelopes : Start menu or desktop icon, if you used the installer to install Tiger Envelopes.
- Move to the installation folder and launching the start script, if you're running on Unix and you used the installer.
- Move to the installation folder and launch ant run, if you installed from source code and you have all the necessary tools (e.g., java compiler, ant, etc.
