Where are the encrypted messages stored?

Tiger Privacy

Tiger Envelopes automatically saves a copy of all encrypted messages in the messages subdirectory of the Envelopes data folder.

One of the big advantages of Tiger is that your messages can be read in plain text in your mail client so there's no special procedure to encrypt/decrypt them. As each message passes to or from your mail client through Tiger Envelopes, it is encrypted/decrypted automatically if there is a matching key. And, Envelopes includes the key with every message so whenever you communicate with someone else using Tiger, you can be assured that there's a matching key.
