What do I do if I get an "Invalid user, password, or Tiger account" error?


Tiger Privacy 

The error message appears when you have configured your mail client to use Tiger Envelopes, but the configuration isn't correct.

  1. Start the Tiger Envelopes control panel.
  2. Click the Accounts tab.
  3. Select the email address.
  4. Click the Change button.
  5. Add a check mark to the Incoming and Outgoing servers Advanced boxes.
  6. Verify the settings are correct; adjust them if they aren't.
  7. When everything is set up properly, move to the Advanced tab.
  8. Click the Options sub-tab and click the Stop button at the bottom of the window.
  9. Move to the Status tab and click the Start button.
  10. If you continue to get the error, then
    1. Start your mail client.
    2. Check the login. Review the pages on login with email address and login with @@ signs before making any changes.
    3. Make sure the password is correct.
