Why didn't Tiger decrypt a message?

Tiger Privacy

There are several reasons that can prevent Tiger Envelopes from decrypting your mail.

  1. You didn't configure Tiger to protect the email address that matches the address the sender used to encrypt.
  2. Someone sent you a message encrypted for someone else. The sender must encrypt the message with your public key.
  3. The sender has an old public key for you. Verify your key with the sender. If the keys don't match, update the key. Be sure to verify the new key.
  4. Your passphrase has changed. Whenever you change your passphrase, you must enter the new passphrase into Tiger's control panel.
